Booking terms
What you can expect from me, and what I ask of you.
Last updated 5 October 2026.
About these terms
These terms apply when you book an appointment or buy a course with Humblebee Wellness (Kirstie Carlton-Blake, 33 The Green, St Leonards-on-Sea). They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Your booking
Your booking is confirmed once you've paid online, either the £10 deposit or the full price, when you see the confirmation page and I send you a confirmation email.
Online booking closes 24 hours before an appointment, and you can book up to six months ahead.
The price is the one shown when you book.
Moving or cancelling
Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment. You can do this yourself using the link in your confirmation email, or by contacting me. Exactly 48 hours' notice is fine.
The deposit, or paying in full
When you book online you can pay a £10 deposit now, which holds your appointment and comes off the price on the day, or pay the full price now, including any extras and any standing discount you have with me.
If you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice, everything you paid is refunded to your card automatically, whether that was the deposit or the full price. If you move your appointment, what you paid moves with it and nothing is charged again.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or don't come to your appointment without letting me know, £10 isn't refunded. If you paid the deposit, that's your deposit. If you paid in full, I keep £10 and the rest is refunded to your card automatically.
Paying for your treatment
If you paid the deposit, on the day you pay the price of your treatment minus the £10 deposit you've already paid, by cash, card or bank transfer. If you paid in full, there's nothing more to pay.
If I have to cancel
If I have to cancel your appointment, for illness or any other reason, I'll let you know as soon as I can and offer to move it to another time. If you'd rather not move it, everything you paid, deposit or full price, is refunded in full. If it was a course session, that session goes back on your course.
Arriving late
If you arrive late, your treatment will still finish at the time it was booked to end, so the next client isn't kept waiting, and the full price applies.
Before your first visit
Before your first appointment, please complete the consultation form I send you. My insurer requires it before I can treat you.
If you haven't been able to fill it in beforehand, you can complete it when you arrive. If the form isn't completed, I can't go ahead with the treatment.
Courses
A course is six sessions, paid for in full: six 60-minute foot reflexology sessions for £210, or six 45-minute reflexology sessions for £190.
All six sessions must be used within one year of the date you buy the course, that is on or before the same date the following year. The date is written on the receipt I email you. Any sessions not used by then can't be carried over or refunded.
You can book all your sessions when you buy, or book some and keep the rest to book later, from My bookings or by contacting me.
You can buy a course from me in person, or online on this website. Online, you can pay by card, or choose to pay in cash or by card at your first session.
If you choose to pay at your first session, I'll ask for the full price then, and you can book your other sessions once it's paid. If you don't come to your first session, or don't pay, I may cancel the course; nothing will have been charged.
If you buy a course online, or by phone, text or email, you can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund. Just email or call me. This applies however you pay.
If you would like a session within those 14 days, you'll be asked to confirm that you'd like it. If you then cancel the course, I take off an equal share of the course price for each session you had: £35 a session on the £210 course and £31.67 a session on the £190 course. After the 14 days, the rest of these course terms apply.
If you cancel a course session with less than 48 hours' notice, or miss it, that session counts as used. I may choose to give it back if something unexpected has happened. If you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice, the session goes back on your course.
If I have to cancel a course session, it goes back on your course, and if that leaves you short of time I'll extend your course end date.
A session from the 45-minute reflexology course can be used for 45-minute reflexology or, if you'd prefer, a 45-minute Indian Head Massage, as they're the same length and price. Sessions from the 60-minute foot reflexology course can only be used for 60-minute foot reflexology.
Course sessions can only be used by the person who bought the course. They can't be transferred to anyone else, shared, or given as a gift.
There's no deposit on a course or on course sessions, because the course is paid for in full.
If I can't provide the rest of your course, for example because of a long illness or because I stop trading, I'll refund the sessions you haven't used.
Refunds
Refunds will be offered if:
- you cancel your appointment with at least 48 hours' notice: your £10 deposit is refunded, or the full price if you paid in full;
- you paid in full and cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or don't come: everything except £10 is refunded;
- I have to cancel your appointment and you'd rather not move it: everything you paid is refunded in full;
- you cancel a course you bought online, or by phone, text or email, within 14 days of buying it: the price is refunded, less an equal share of the course price for each session you asked to have and had in that time;
- I can't provide the rest of a course you've paid for, for example because of a long illness or because I stop trading: the sessions you haven't used are refunded.
£10 of what you paid for an appointment isn't refunded if you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice or don't come.
There's no refund if you stop using a course part way through, though I may make one in particular circumstances.
None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.
My bookings
You can see your appointments and courses, move or cancel an appointment, and book again at My bookings on this website.
There's no password. You type your email address and I send you a link, which works once, for 20 minutes. Tapping it keeps that phone or computer signed in for 30 days, or until you sign out. Please sign out if you use a shared computer.
If you don't have an email address, call or text me on 07711 209325 and I'll look after your bookings for you. The link in each confirmation email still works too.
Your health
Reflexologists do not diagnose, prescribe or claim to treat medical conditions.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy and should not be used as an alternative to medical advice or treatment from a GP or other qualified healthcare professional.
Reflexology may be used alongside conventional medical treatment and in some cases, may be available through private healthcare schemes.
The same applies to Indian Head Massage and to any treatment that combines reflexology and Indian Head Massage.
Please tell me about any health conditions on your consultation form.
Other
- If a court decides that any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest of the terms still apply.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
- I may update these terms from time to time, for example if the law or my services change. The version that applies to a booking or course is the one shown on this page when you made it. Changes never apply to something you've already booked or bought unless you agree.
